Because Slick doesn’t wear tons of makeup, he still looks human and doesn’t easily scare young children even when he’s on stilts.

Juggling through rings held by volunteers is one of Slick’s unique tricks.

This is a fun tick, children put 5 juggling balls on Slick and then he juggles them from wherever they put them.

Some people look at what Slick does think he is either crazy (unknowingly takes dangerous risks), stupid (knowingly takes dangerous risks), or daring (knowingly takes calculated risks).  Considering he has practiced since 1996 with no more than small scratches and similar booboos, he isn’t taking dangerous risks.
